Welcome to the Dixie Regional Hosta Society
Hostas are shade-tolerant perennial plants that offer a wide variety of colors, shapes and sizes. Hosta collectors are very sociable people who enjoy coming together with others to learn, to discuss and to share the love of hostas. There are numerous groups dedicated to the promotion of hostas and their enjoyment in the home garden. The Dixie Regional Hosta Society offers the opportunity for southern gardeners to learn about hostas and how they do best in our southern climate. The Dixie Regional Hosta Society covers 12 southern states, from Texas to Virginia. DRHS charges no membership dues. If you are a member of the American Hosta Society, residing in one of these 12 states, or if you are a member of any local hosta society in one of those states, you are automatically a member.
